JD:

· We are seeking an for an IT Application Support position .
· This position is primarily focused on the support of applications to
Client
·  The role will have a high level of interaction with the Broking Clients
and leading Banks.
· The candidate must have excellent communication skills, a broad
knowledge of financial markets and trade lifecycles.
· The candidate should have good experience in database and
application support, at an investment bank, investment advisor,
Broaking Industries or associated software vendor and have with
experience in front, middle, and back office systems.

 

Position Requirements:

· .Proactive with excellent communication skills; lively, friendly, sociable
personality
· .Strong understanding of trading applications and underlying
infrastructure
· .1-2 years of experience working with Broker, associated software
vendors/ capital Market
· .Applications administration, and support experience
· .Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities, including
being able to interpret, understand, and troubleshoot internally
developed systems
· .Experience in basic Unix commands and administration. Experience in
writing basic SQL.
· .Experience in some scripting languages like shell and Powershell etc
· .Knowledge of basic Linux and Windows operating system
administration
· .Knowledge of IBT (Internet based Trading) product integration in the
Broking environment.
· .Responsible for the functional integration in application level to cater
the business and regulatory needs
· .UAT (User Acceptance Testing) support including Planning strategy,
IT/Technical Business analysis,
· analyzing Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements
· .Perform the day-to-day tasks necessary to execute the responsibilities
for the office including EOD and BOD process and to provide advice
and assistance as required.
· .Experience and willing to work in 24z7 shifts

 

Key Skill :

· Experience  in technical support teams
· 3+ years’ experience in an hands-on application support role
· Experienced in Problem and Incident Management
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Manage and Own the Problem Management Process
· co-ordinate with Clients for problem management activities

· Maintain application monitoring, performance and testing
· Provide input to administering and maintaining all production and
internal environments
· Provide input to the implementation, backup and roll-back plans
· Maintain good working relationships with internal departments
· To examine potential areas for Service Improvement and raise
proposals with the Service Manager
· Self-motivated and highly professional with ability to take ownership
and responsibility
